She leads her ensembles through a widely diverse repertoire, showcasing emotionally potent, genre-defying original music seamlessly woven with reimagined works by Mulgrew Miller, Duke Ellington, and selections from the Blossom Dearie songbook and Jazz canon. Green draws listeners in with an alluring presence, making each performance both deeply personal and universally resonant.

Her recordings have earned critical acclaim, with Corner of My Dreams described as “one of the best Jazz vocal albums of the year” (Marc Meyers, Jazz Wax). Christian McBride calls her “one of the most talented and spirited people I know,” and All About Jazz lauds her as “an artist and performer in toto.”

She has shared the stage with musical visionaries such as Wycliffe Gordon, George Coleman, and Billy Hart, and has sold-out at venues and festivals including The Kennedy Center, Dizzy’s Club, Birdland Theater, Ronnie Scott’s, DC Jazz Festival, and EFG London Jazz Festival.

Green has released five albums to date: Life Rearranged (2017), Kelly Green Trio: Volume One (2018), Endings That Are Beginnings (2022), and Seems (2024) and Corner of My Dreams (2025).
