Chieli Minucci

About

Leader and founding member of Grammy-nominated Special EFX, Chieli Minucci has a distinctive guitar style that has led to collaborations and appearances with the likes of Lionel Richie, Jennifer Lopez & Celine Dion, as well as smooth jazz favourites Kirk Whalum, Norman Brown, Rick Braun, and many more. He has 3 Emmys for his work in TV and film, and although his former bandmate and co-founder George Jinda is sadly no longer with us, Chieli continues to keep the Special EFX flag flying. He returns to PizzaExpress Live Soho after an 8-year hiatus. Playing with Chieli will be Oli Silk on keyboards, Jack Pollitt on drums and Julian Crampton on bass.
