The Bay Area’s favorite quartet playing funky Latin jazz, Charged Particles is now in its 32nd year of making music. The band features four of the country's musical virtuosos.  Murray Low is a keyboard wizard with dazzling Latin-jazz technique and imaginative improvisational skills.  Doug Pohorski is a brilliant and innovative bass player.  Along with fiery drummer Jon Krosnick and special guest, saxophonist extraordinaire Tod Dickow, these players are playing some of the most fun Latin jazz music in the country today. Their 2021 CD was included on “Best of the year” lists in JazzTimes Magazine, Jazzwise Magazine, All About Jazz, the Mercury News, Glide Magazine, the Jazz Journalists Association Poll, and the Jazz Critics Poll.
