In the intimate setting of Jamboree, Robles and Grillo will recreate the universe of Las Migas from an instrumental perspective. Melodies, rhythms, and silences become the vehicles through which they convey the messages at the heart of the band’s songs: freedom, identity, feminine strength, travel, and the search for one’s own voice. As the artists themselves explain, the concert is conceived as a shared experience. They engage in conversation with the audience, reveal the stories behind some of the pieces, encourage participation, and create moments of attentive listening that show how a story can also be told without words.
