Live music is back on stage at The Mad Monkfish! For those who can't make it to the Jazz Baroness Room, Monkfish now streams live all of its performances on their Facebook page . The Jazz Vocal Jam Session takes place the 1st & 3rd Sundays of each month from 3pm-6pm. A featured vocalist will start each session before inviting other vocalists to join the house band. There will be a physical sign-up sheet which will be first come, first serve. We appreciate if you purchase something to help the restaurant out for bringing all of this great jazz to us! This week the featured singer will be Teddy Horangic. Teddy Horangic is jazz vocalist and band leader who performs frequently in Boston and New York City. She takes deep inspiration from the voices of Dinah Washington and Cecile Mclorin Salvant - among many others - and strives to cultivate the duende in her art. You can find her at the KGB bar in NYC on the last Saturday of every month. Teddy graduated from Yale in May 2025, where she studied economics, the philosophy of music, and was the lead singer of the Yale Big Band. Make reservations for the Jazz Baroness Room here !
