Join Clave Gringa for a night of fun music to soothe our souls! And our old pal, bassist Julian Weisman, is joining us for this event. Clave Gringa brings their unique Cuban jazz rooted in traditional Cuban styles to North City Bistro with two horns (maestro Mike Mines on trumpet and Nathaniel Schleimer on tenor sax and flute), phenomenal percussionist Willie Garza, bassist Julian Weisman, and the leader, pianist and vocalist Ann Reynolds. The band will take you on a journey through Cuban music from the classically oriented danzon and cha-cha-cha styles to the African folkloric sounds and rumba.
