About

NÀDIA ORTA FREIXES , vocals MIRENA NAFARRATE , vocals JANA GALLIFA , piano ELVIRA BARNADAS , cello DAVIDE FONTANI , clarinet ROGER CASTELLS , drums, percussion. The emblematic World Music Ensemble launches and presents a new artistic project that will take us on a musical journey through a large part of the Latin American continent. Once again, this project highlights the richness and diversity of the music that has emerged from the continent’s different peoples, who over time have blended the rhythms of indigenous communities with those brought by later arrivals. Cuban son, Brazilian bossa nova, Argentine tango and Colombian cumbia shape the repertoire and are performed through a “jazz lens”, featuring original arrangements of both the ensemble’s own compositions and traditional pieces. BWME and Harlem Jazz Club have developed a long-standing and prolific relationship over the years, which, among other things, has resulted in this exciting project. Bar opening: 7:30 pm Concert: 9:30 pm Price: 13€ ONLINE TICKETS HERE: https://entradium.com/events/barcelona-world-music-ensemble-presen
