The compositions delve deeper into industrial electronic and metal music, whilst retaining the ensembles spontaneity and groove mentality. Extended solos, expressive synths, driving rock grooves and soaring saxophone melodies are present throughout. Signal Decay was recorded at Lily Street Studios by Adam Calaitzis, as well as at Kathleen Syme Studio by Joel Sena. It features Max Walker on guitar, Mike Pensini on keys, Owen Downie on bass, and Gerry Pantazis on drums.
