London Jazz Orchestra with the Essex Youth Jazz Orchestra

About

Doors 3:30 PM, Music 4:00 PM About Two great bands: the London Jazz Orchestra, directed by Scott Stroman, host the award-winning young players of the Essex Youth Jazz Orchestra, directed by Martin Hathaway, for a first set. The second set features the latest from the LJO. In addition to being top performers, the members of the LJO are leading educators, teaching at all the London music colleges and for schools and education authorities around the country. Long-term LJO alto saxophonist Martin Hathaway leads his award-winning young band as they share the Vortex stage with one of the country’s finest ensembles.
