His unmistakable piano work became an essential part of Bowie’s sound, most famously through his legendary improvised solo on “Aladdin Sane.” Garson would ultimately perform with Bowie across multiple eras of his career, including Bowie’s final public performance in the United States. Carmine Rojas (bass): Carmine was Bowie’s bassist during one of the most commercially explosive periods of Bowie’s career, touring the world with him from 1983 through 1987 and recording on classics including “Let’s Dance,” “China Girl,” “Modern Love” and “Blue Jean.” A remarkably versatile bassist, musical director and producer, Rojas has also worked extensively with Rod Stewart, Joe Bonamassa and Julian Len
