Doors open at 6:00 PM for Dinner and Drink Service. ANTrio, led by Twin Cities pianist Ari Nahum, will put on a show of original songs and arrangements in the intimate Dunsmore Room. Nahum’s musical partnership with bassist Jim Pacala spans 17 years, joined by drummer Ken Goldman. Expect a night of spontaneous sonic exploration and deep emotional connection from this highly eclectic and original group. Ari Nahum : Piano Ken Goldman : Drums Jim Pacala : Bass Ari Nahum began playing jazz while studying at Colorado College. His musical journey from there has been intertwined with medical studies as he explores the sounds that capture and encompass the human experience. As a high schooler in Rochester, NY, Jim Pacala began playing gigs by hanging out with jazz cat students at the Eastman School of Music. His jazz playing has been informed by work in classical, bluegrass, roots, rock, and klezmer, while also intertwined, like Ari’s, with medical studies.
