A Tribute to Jazz from Detroit: David Janeway Quintet
Dizzy's Club in New York, Columbus Circle.
About
Celebrate Detroit’s rich jazz legacy with pianist David Janeway and his quintet at Dizzy’s Club. Shaped by the city’s vibrant jazz scene and influences including Marcus Belgrave, Kirk Lightsey, Barry Harris, and Motown, Janeway brings warmth and depth to this tribute to Detroit’s jazz luminaries. Joining him are Craig Handy on saxophones and flute, Freddie Hendrix on trumpet and flugelhorn, Robert Hurst on bass, and Billy Hart on drums for a set honoring the musicians who helped shape the music.
