Saxophonist Todd Dickow joins the electrifying trio Charged Particles for an evening bridging bebop traditions and contemporary jazz fusion. Expect dynamic solos steeped in Coltrane and Shorter, inventive Latin-jazz influences, and virtuosic improvisations from this powerhouse collaboration. The band has toured in Indonesia, Canada, England, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Sweden, and Abu Dahbi, in addition to about 170 performances each year all over the U.S. Their 2021 CD was included on “Best of the year” lists in JazzTimes Magazine, Jazzwise Magazine, All About Jazz, the Mercury News, Glide Magazine, the Jazz Journalists Association Poll, and the Jazz Critics Poll.
