Andrew Elwood Trio

About

Andrew Elwood is a jazz drummer based in the Denver and Chicago areas. He is a graduate of Denver School of the Arts, where he played in the award winning Jazz Workshop Orchestra directed by Dave Hammond. He was also a part of the Colorado Conservatory for the Jazz Arts where he studied and worked with Paul Romaine, Greg Gisbert, and Eric Gunnison. He goes to school in Chicago where he studies with Dana Hall. Andrew has performed at various venues and festivals, including the Vail Jazz Festival, Telluride Jazz Festival, Dazzle, Muse, and The Jazz Showcase. He is bringing a trio featuring Sonya Walker on piano and Gabe Rupe. They will be forming selections of standards and originals. Andrew Elwood - drums Sonya Walker - piano Gabe Rupe - bass
