NO COVER 4:30pm Show Multi-instrumentalist Nick Bhalla will perform two sets of improvised solo piano. Nick Bhalla is highly active in the Minneapolis music scene, contributing to projects including Dusty Forever, Harlow, Neopolitan, Steady Range, and his trio Big Blue Moon. Nick’s newest album, Empire , is a suite of explorations for solo piano, with plenty of room for improvisation and surprising harmonic twists. Nick’s solo piano provides meditative soundscapes drawn from a deeply improvisational spirit. Revolutionary yet calming—expansive yet introspective—it is the perfect music for entering a fresh mindset.
