Juilliard Jazz Ensembles: Jazz Music of the 1970’s: Don Pulley, Charles Tolliver, John Hicks and Thad Jones
Dizzy's Club in New York, Columbus Circle.

About
From bebop and free-form jazz to modal and avant-garde styles, the 1970s pushed the boundaries of personal expression. Juilliard Jazz Ensembles bring audiences back to this pivotal era with music by Don Pulley, Charles Tolliver, John Hicks, and Thad Jones. Two Juilliard Jazz Ensembles, who are each named after a jazz legend, Mary Lou Williams, Duke Ellington, Dave Brubeck, and Jelly Roll Morton among them, will perform this night.
