Join us as we present some of Mingus' seminal works including Moanin', Better Get Hit in Your Soul and Haitian Fight song, to name but a few. We'll also pay tribute to the influences that shaped Mingus' music in a raucous and joyous evening of some of the most significant compositions in jazz. The Paris Cat Big Band features some of Melbourne's finest musicians paying homage to the great composers and musicians of jazz history and is under the direction of local arranger Toshi Clinch.
