Musical Style: Jazz Colorado Jazz musicians, close friends of NEA Jazz Master Sheila Jordan, come together to share music they performed with her and to share stories of inspiration on the one year anniversary of her passing. Sheila lived true jazz history being best friends with Charlie Parker, marrying his piano player Duke Jordan and performing and hanging with many jazz greats during the New York BeBop era. She dedicated her life to jazz and continued to perform until she passed at 96.
