Caity Gyorgy is a dazzling force in contemporary jazz, celebrated for her virtuosic vocals, inventive songwriting, and irresistible swing. Hailing from Calgary, Canada, Gyorgy (pronounced “George”) has rapidly ascended the jazz world, earning three JUNO Awards for Vocal Jazz Album of the Year by age 24—a testament to her artistry and impact. Renowned for her mastery of bebop and swing, she brings a breezy, effortless quality to her singing, with improvisations that sparkle with wit and technical brilliance. An emerging polymath in the music industry, Christian Wiggs is a vocalist, bandleader, lyricist, producer, and host of Jazz Tonight on PBS. Wiggs’ has built a remarkable career as an artist, leading and featured with ensembles at Birdland, Blue Note, Dizzy’s Club and SXSW. He has produced albums for pianist Emmet Cohen, Benny Benack, and Steven Feifke, and serves as the musical/band manager for global icon Jeff Goldblum and the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra.
