Bassist Steve Arnold is quickly becoming one of the most recognizable faces and in-demand sidemen on the D.C. jazz scene. He has an imaginative, expansive approach to the music that also blends well in the tradition. He plays with his band Sea Change, a genre-bending contemporary jazz ensemble that draws influences from folk, rock, soul and improvised music.
