Craig Klein began playing trombone in high school and has been a member of prominent bands in the city such as Preservation Hall Jazz Band and The Storyville Stompers , among others. In 1990, he joined the group of renowned artist Harry Connick Jr. , where he remained for 16 years. Craig has participated in more than 150 recordings and collaborated with artists such as Dr. John, The Neville Brothers, R.E.M., Allen Toussaint, George Porter, Leroy Jones, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, and Dave Bartholomew .
