She weaves heartfelt lyrics with Cuban-influenced rhythms and sounds, shaped by years of study in Havana meshing with her deep Folk, Rock and Jazz musical roots from childhood. Drawing inspiration from a wide array of influences from Joni Mitchell to Queen, Stevie Wonder to Chucho Valdés, this show features Minneapolis local legend Prudence Johnson as a guest vocalist and the Havana Quartet, a powerhouse group of young string players from Cuba who are taking Minneapolis by storm.
