Known for his unique, passionate, and soulful approach to music, Ayo blends the rich traditions of jazz with a fresh, contemporary sound. Drawing inspiration from jazz legends such as John Coltrane and McCoy Tyner, as well as contemporary artists including Kev Choice and Kamasi Washington, Ayo brings together generations of musical influence while developing a sound distinctly his own. Whether performing on saxophone or exploring the possibilities of the EWI, Ayo is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of jazz through creativity, innovation, and fearless musical expression. His performances reflect both a deep respect for the music’s history and a vision for where jazz can go next.
