About
Twenty years after the release of Gold Sounds, saxophonist James Carter, pianist Cyrus Chestnut, bassist Reginald Veal, and drummer Ali Jackson reunite at Dizzy’s Club to celebrate the album and its inventive interpretation of music by Pavement. Blending their individual musical styles with the chemistry that made the original project distinctive, the quartet transforms alternative rock into a platform for jazz improvisation and creative exploration. Their return to Dizzy’s Club marks a memorable reunion and celebrates an album that continues to push the boundaries between genres.
