Join us for another night of Jazz at the Marquee , the Empress Marquee Club’s Thursday Night Concert Series, featuring a deep-grooving organ quartet led by Bay Area saxophonist Dan Zinn . Zinn is a world-class saxophonist, flutist, composer, arranger, author, and educator known for a powerful sound, soulful phrasing, and inventive improvisation. He has performed or recorded with major artists including Joe Henderson, Freddie Hubbard, Jeff “Tain” Watts, Peter Erskine, Terri Lyne Carrington, Taylor Eigsti , and Allison Miller .
