Tony Glausi Quartet

About

TICKETS $50 | ALL AGES Tony Glausi - trumpet, vocals Domo Branch - drums Esteban Castro - piano Russell Hall - bass Trumpeter Tony Glausi returns to Portland with his quartet comprising of Esteban Castro (piano), Russell Hall (bass), and Domo Branch (drums), who have been playing together non-stop in New York City and abroad for years now. The chemistry of this group is felt upon the first note—they get audiences up and dancing, laughing and crying, and traveling to the inner most part of their being as they present original music drawing upon swing, latin, and avant-garde movements of the past several centuries. This evening Tony and his band will play new music (soon to be released) as well as pieces off his previous album ‘Awaken’, and perhaps even some from ‘Christmas with Tony Glausi’ in celebration of 10 years since its making. Vinyls and CDs will be available for signing after the show. Come join us to hear the Tony Glausi Quartet at the 1905 for the first time in over 4 years!
