Pianist Ryan Hanseler recently arrived in D.C. from New Orleans after landing a spot as the pianist for the Navy Commodores Big Band. The NC Central grad seems most comfortable accompanying a warm vocalist, such as Cyrille Aimee or Gabrielle Cavassa, where his touch for wide, lush harmonies is best showcased.
