Ben Cai is a 20-year-old Vancouver-based saxophone player and Jazz Studies student at Capilano University, playing tenor, soprano, and alto saxophone. Influenced by various jazz, funk, and blues music, he has participated in two years of the Langley Jazz Festival and three years of the Vancouver International Jazz Festival programs including Free Jazz 2025 and the High School Intensive in 2023 and 2024. Alongside festival performances, he regularly gigs around Vancouver with his small groups playing jazz, fusion, funk, and original music.
