Join us on the first Wednesday of every month for a special music series celebrating two historic milestones: the 250th anniversary of American independence and the 150th anniversary of Colorado statehood. Through live performances and engaging storytelling, this series explores the music that has shaped our communities, reflected our changing identities, and continues to inspire new generations across Colorado and the nation. This month's performance features Ron Ivory and One on One who will bring the timeless sounds of Motown to life with a lively set of classic hits. Along the way, Ron will share the stories behind the songs, highlighting the artists, cultural impact, and enduring legacy of a musical movement that transformed American music and helped define an era. One on One is an 8-piece musical ensemble created and formed by Ron Ivory, lead vocalist, and keyboardist as a springboard of The MilesApart Band the R&B group and rhythm section for his One on One (Motown/Classic Soul) group conceptionalized in the summer of 2003. One on One epitomizes the soul of Motown, Classic Soul, and more with their own original compositions in a dynamic fashion at every performance. The outstanding musicianship encompasses Robin Garcia on Saxophones/Flute & 2nd Keyboards, Thomas (Lam) McCrary on Bass, Henry Hudson III on Saxophones and vocals, Glenn Brown on Guitars, Jimi Alexander on vocals, and various artists on Drums, Percussions and Female Vocals (primarily Linda Styles). As we echo our audiences… “It's not just entertainment, it's an experience”. Fees- a 10 % seat tax to the City and County of Denver, 4% to cover other music licensing and fees, and $0.75 for ticketing service, Venue Pilot There is a minimum purchase of two food or beverage items per person.
