This project highlights the double bass as a solo instrument within jazz, following in the footsteps of legendary bassists such as Sam Jones, Ray Brown, and Paul Chambers . The quartet is energetic and expressive, bringing to life original compositions inspired by Osuna’s experiences in New York City . Their album Too Soon, Too Late , recorded at Pinch Studios (NY) , will be released on the Fresh Sound label, establishing the group as an innovative and distinctive voice in contemporary jazz.
