In this kind of “back-and-forth” 2.0 approach, Lizana and Solla exchange their cultural heritages rooted in tango, folklore, and flamenco, filtered through jazz, a language that allows them to incorporate the art of improvisation. The repertoire includes original compositions by Solla and Lizana alongside classics by Astor Piazzolla and Atahualpa Yupanqui , recorded in 2023 on the album El Siempre Mar , which earned a nomination for Best Jazz Album at the Spanish Music Academy Awards in 2024.
