London Jazz Orchestra Vortex Sessions: The Pianists of the LJO

About

Doors 3:30 PM, Music 4:00 PM About: John Taylor, Pete Saberton, Nikki Iles, Alcyona Mick - the four pianists who have held the keyboard chair in the LJO are all truly original voices as players and writers. Their compositions, and arrangements of their music by other band members, are featured in the LJO's Vortex Session this month. Directed by Scott Stroman, the London Jazz Orchestra is a unique big band of top soloists and writers that create new music - and share it, up-close-and-personal, at its monthly Sessions at the Vortex Club.
