Drummer Sherrie Maricle, bassist Amy Shook and pianist Jackie Warren can swing hard and ride the groove all at once. The group plays an array of standards and originals indebted to 1950s acoustic jazz and early electric jazz. Here they play with special guest tenor saxophonist Jeff Antoniuk and other friends. Antoniuk plays with a buoyant, bouncy tone that may remind you of Sonny Rollins at some moments.
