About

Alto saxophonist Aaron Hardie brings a robust sound and an energetic approach to the instrument each time he plays. Deeply influenced by the jazz alto masters past and present, he continues in the tradition with an array of original material and selections from the modern jazz idiom. His original compositions are characterized by a strong sense of melodicism, creating music that is both expressive and engaging. This iteration of the Aaron Hardie Quartet has been performing together for more than a decade, developing natural musical chemistry and deep understanding between the musicians resulting in performances that are both cohesive and spontaneous. Joining Hardie at Frankie's will be Lorne Kellett on piano, Graham Clark on bass, and Craig Scott on drums.
