STEVEN BRADFORD, guitar – IWAN “El Francés”, guitar – ALAN BECKMAN, guitar France is the birthplace of Gypsy Jazz, created by the brilliant Django Reinhardt, and also boasts a rich tradition of Gypsy music and flamenco. Swing Time is a trio of guitarists arriving with a special proposal: a fusion of gipsy jazz and flamenco, two Gypsy musical styles that have rarely been combined. The show will journey from traditional Manouche swing to flamenco fusions, aiming to highlight the shared foundation and roots of these two sister musical cultures. The concert at Harlem Jazz Club is the exclusive opening of their european tour.
