About

Spanish guitarist, singer, and composer Lau Noah and Sungazer bassist, composer, and media innovator Adam Neely represent two of the most distinctive musical voices of their generation. They make a highly anticipated stop at the Joe Henderson Lab for these performances. Though they emerged from different corners of the contemporary music world—Noah through her deeply personal fusion of Spanish folk, classical counterpoint, and jazz that has found fans and collaborators in Jacob Collier and Cécile McLorin Salvant, and Neely through his celebrated work as a performer, composer, co-founder of the fusion juggernaut Sungazer and influential music communicator—their artistic partnership reveals a remarkable shared language. Together, they have cultivated a sound that is intimate yet adventurous, blending Noah’s intricate guitar writing and lyrical sensibility with Neely’s melodic bass work and sophisticated harmonic approach. The result is music that feels simultaneously timeless and modern, rooted in tradition while fearlessly exploratory. Their most recent release, The Way Under , distills that artistic connection into five concise and evocative pieces. Released in 2025, the EP features original compositions and showcases their singular conversational interplay, offering a compelling portrait of two musicians whose collaboration has become greater than the sum of its parts.
