An artist who defied categorisation, she interpreted a wide array of songs across genres such as Blues, Jazz, Pop, Soul, Gospel, and Folk. Harmony duo Georga Byrne & Ally Mac have drawn inspiration from many influences, with Cassidy’s story resonating deeply with them, making it a part of their own artistic journey. With over two decades of experience across stages, screens, and studios, Georga & Ally are versatile performers with a captivating stage presence. Their expertise spans television, corporate entertainment, and touring shows, with performances in Central America, the United States, Asia, Europe, and Japan (where they performed their first show together). Georga & Ally are deeply inspired by many singers, with Eva Cassidy being one of their favourites. For the past 15 years, they have performed many shows and songs together, including Eva Cassidy’s. Now, they are excited to present their new show, Songbird - The Story and Music of Eva Cassidy.
