About Ken Field
Field leads the New Orleans-inspired Revolutionary Snake Ensemble and has been a member of Birdsongs of the Mesozoic since 1988. His official biography also documents work in Musaner, animation and dance scores, solo and collaborative recordings, and compositions used on Sesame Street.[1][2]
His Boston-area activity extends beyond bandleading. Field hosts The New Edge on WMBR and WOMR, serves as president of JazzBoston’s board, and has curated Jazz Along the Charles for Celebrity Series of Boston.[1]
